Sony Ericsson is green friendly

1 10 2008

Sony Ericsson has come up with a new green concept phone called: The Green Heart.

How will this phone contribute to the environment? Well firstly they will start of by saving the trees. This means There will be no printed manuals but rather have the manuals available online. Many users these days get use to their phones by playing around with the features through discovery anyway. They will also have green environmental safe packaging.
Secondly it’s charger will automatically turn off once the battery charging is full thereby saving precious electricity.
Thirdly, it will have a bio-plastic casing with a recyclable keypad and
Fourthly, there will be recycle bins provided to recollect these unwanted phones..

This phone is just a concept and a concept like this might never turn into reality. Or rather, takes an unpredicted amount of time to be developed. At least Sony has started it’s bid by sharing an idea to encourage people to help save the environment.
